I have a friend who went to jail and came out with ruined credit. He wants to start an llc but is scared there won%26#039;t be any options for banking. He has been trying to open an account with no luck. Any suggestions on what to do while credit is in repair?

I hopfully he can open a savings account, so they can see that he is good with money.then Normally, after a while they will give a checking.
If they wont let him open anything, he might have to have a co-signed checking account with a family member.

open a brokerage account that has checking account privleges...Some check credit some don%26#039;t. But why is the bank even checking credit with the LLC? Doesnt he have a federal tax id #? The other option is to add another person to the llc with good credit and leave him off the account
