I have bad credit,so how do I go about getting the $80,000 I need to pay for my bar ?

First, you should be realistic about your abilities and the potential of the bar. If its been closed for just a short time, it could be a money pit for years till it can come back to its former glory. For a bar to succeed it needs good management and cash flow and luck.

Many people think they can run a bar and make a pile of cash but it does take some luck, hard work and business know how. I don%26#039;t know you but to increase the odds of succeeding, you may want to find a business partner who shares the same passion for this venture and has the cash to invest or you might be struggling forever to make a go of it. Speak to other small businesses/bar owners in the area and see what they think of this venture.

Going into further debt when you already have credit problems is usually not a good idea. However, there are mortgage companies and brokers who may lend you money on the property. A mortgage broker will shop your loan around to various lenders. Most advertise, but you could call around. Check your yellow pages for listings. You might approach the people who currently have the mortgage and see if you can pick up the back payments and assume the loan. If you don%26#039;t have the money to do that then perhaps you should just let this one go. Bars and restaurants are very risky business ventures. Lenders don%26#039;t like risk. Perhaps you know someone with good credit or sufficient funds to make this work for you. If that is the case, you could bring them in as a partner. By the way, if you deposited funds into a bank account, that would be one way to prove your income. I don%26#039;t know your situation, but it takes money to operate a business. You will need operating capital in addition to the mortgage.

what%26#039;s the term are you looking at and how would you repay $80,000 also what surety can you produce

Bad credit means it is time to STOP borrowing $$$ .

Get a 2nd job and pay for stuff directly .

I often had 2 jobs , it helps avoid bad credit issues .

Being a loan junkie is messing up your life .

I have poor credit and I can%26#039;t get a loan. Are there any private lenders willing to help?

i do not understand if you have all ready paid back one loan with no late payments why don%26#039;t you go to that loan company and get another loan!!! or go to the one you have now and try to roll the additional money into a new loan!!!

I have poor credit and I can%26#039;t get a loan. Are there any private lenders willing to help?

If you have bad credit and are consistently borrowing money then you have issues. Stop borrowing money. Work 2 or 3 jobs to pay for what you need.

DO NOT get a loan for a car. For a car, save up $5K to $7K and buy a 7 year old honda civic. Good reliable car that should last you another 5 years.

Quit using credit cards. Using credit cards is STUPID.

If you have to get a loan for something, it should be on an appreciating asset. A car, clothes or dinner at a nice resteraunt are not appreciating assets. A house probably is (no guarntee there either.)

One more thing, the Bible says that the borrower is slave to the lender. Do you enjoy being a slave, because that%26#039;s what you are.

I hope that helps.

Try prosper.com, which is a site where private lenders can view your profile, assess your situation, and decide at what rate they are willing to lend you money. Your chances of getting a loan here are definitely better than at a regular bank or credit card company.

Many lenders, banks in particular, deal in any sort of secured loan other than second mortgages. Other institutions deal almost exclusively in secured loans. Finance companies that deal in secured loans can be found in your phone book, newspaper, and increasingly, online.Shop%26lt;!--around and compare interest rates on loans and the terms of repayment with several different lenders. You%26#039;ll find many internet sites that let you request a loan rate quote from multiple lenders at once. You may find bad credit loans here,

http://badcredits.awardspace.com/

Once you%26#039;ve submitted a request for a loan quote, you%26#039;ll be contacted by representatives from several companies--%26gt;and can get a good idea of what each can offer you in terms of interest and other finance charges and fees. Choose the best one for your needs, and apply for the loan.

I have very bad credit. if i sell my house and pay it off how will it affect my score?

my stb ex-wife destroyed my cedit. my house needs repairs i cant pay for. if i sell it and pay it off does it help my score or bring it down as it would show im not making payments monthly? btw i was a victim of id theft. %26quot;my wife%26quot; bless her little heart. got several cards in the mail using my info. maxed em all out moved in with her bf and stuck me with the bills. including a car loan i had to co-sign for her. the car was scrapped out long ago. im still paying for the tires she had put on it 5 yrs ago. theres alot more but its along story.

I have very bad credit. if i sell my house and pay it off how will it affect my score?

Have you filed a police report concerning the credit cards. She may have been your wife, but that does not mean she can commit fraud.

I think you should consult an attorney and explain the situation and see if there are some legal actions you could take against here.

I would also keep a very detailed paper trail of everything that you can for divorce proceedings. May be that the judge can make her pay these debts.

Good luck to you

I have very bad credit. if i sell my house and pay it off how will it affect my score?

The whole idea 2 having credit is to get a home TO BEGIN WITH ! ! !

As long as you have that house and a divorce judge hasn%26#039;t ruled that it belongs to your wife then do all you can to hang on to it. !

If you%26#039;re not critically behind on your mortgage payments then hold on to the house at all costs. Like you said if you continue to make ON TIME MORTGAGE PAYMENTS and the divorce judge has or will rule in your favor then YOU%26#039;VE WON THE BATTLE NO MATTER WHAT ELSE HAPPENS.

LOL

p.s. If you lose this house you%26#039;ll probably never have another one. And don%26#039;t EVEN THINK about filing for bankruptcy

I have very bad credit. if i sell my house and pay it off how will it affect my score?

Normally, the faster you pay off a property, the higher your credit rating will be. I don%26#039;t see that selling your home will lower your rating. really, it should go up. Ask a bank and maybe talk to a credit agency, Equifax or an equivelant agency.

Anyone know of a reputable institution for people with bad credit to get mortgage financing?

my fiance and i r trying to buy his late grandmothers property, it has been appraised at 160,000 and we want to borrow 180,000 so that we have some extra money for repairs and some extra to save for any unforseen needs. (water heater, furnace repairs etc.) we both filed bankruptcy 4 years ago.

Anyone know of a reputable institution for people with bad credit to get mortgage financing?

Well As a mortgage Banker You have just asked two completely different questions.

First there are several reputable lenders out there. How you have paid your bills since your Bankruptcy will be the deciding factor. But right now I don%26#039;t know of any companies that would be willing to take that risk. Currently the B/C Paper or Sub-Prime lenders are struggling to stay afloat. If the house is appraised at $160,000 odds are you will be hard pressed to find some one willing to give you a loan for more than the house is worth. 100% financing is out there and may even still be available.

Now I recommend If you want to do some work to the house that you make a list of the items that you want to do, new furnace..... Then look at a rehab loan or a re-habitate loan which is a lot like a construction loan or a remodel loan. I recommend going to your local Mortgage Banker.

Good luck

Anyone know of a reputable institution for people with bad credit to get mortgage financing?

Very unlikely unless you both have high incomes. It may be better to get a smaller loan and later get a home equity line of credit (HELOC). It%26#039;d be better to save up money for a down payment. Was the house sold during probate to split the value to the heirs?

Anyone know of a reputable institution for people with bad credit to get mortgage financing?

With what you described you may need to use other options to buy the property until you can work on your credit to get the best possible rates and loan. I would suggest that you begin to get help with your credit, go to www.genesiscreditgroup.com for help. In about 6 months you may be able to buy the property. I have seen this many times over the past 22 years that I have been in this business. I hope you find the help you need.

Anyone know of a reputable institution for people with bad credit to get mortgage financing?

Texas lending.com is a great company. They help alot of people get financed with bad credit and low scores. Also www.jcwilliamscreditservice.com can help you get your credit cleaned up.

INCOME tax question . PLEASE HELP!! we have a small light truck /auto repair & tire businessSEE

ON ONE ACCOUNT, we are umbrellaed under another business, they deal with the main tire dealership when we do a job for them , we dont get paid cash , or even a check we receive tire credits, on the labor we do . eventually we have an overstock of tires, because we do more account work than resale of the tires we receive. my question is can the fed. gov. tax the tires we receive on credits?, (un till the resale of the tires? )

INCOME tax question . PLEASE HELP!! we have a small light truck /auto repair %26amp; tire businessSEE DETAILS!!?

from the IRS:

%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;Bartering is an exchange of property or services.

You must include in your income, at the time

received, the fair market value of property or

services you receive in bartering.%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;

INCOME tax question . PLEASE HELP!! we have a small light truck /auto repair %26amp; tire businessSEE DETAILS!!?

Until the cash hits your hand it is still a credit. They deal with %26quot;what is%26quot; and not %26quot;what if%26quot;.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I learned to only use it for car repairs and food what about you.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Now I am, I had to learn the hard way.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

i dont have one

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Sure am. I don%26#039;t own a credit card.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I only use it for convenience, and I pay my balance every month.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

i build credit with mine- thats why my credit is really good- dont charge what you cant pay off!

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I dont have one, but If i did I dont thin ki would be smart about it, cause i am a very careless person and never thinks about the consequences.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I dont own a credit card cuz if I dont have one i cant charge stuff on it, but using it for vehicle repairs only might be a car saver...

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

as long as you remember how much you%26#039;ve spent and plan to pay for it at the end of the month you%26#039;ll have no problem. Don%26#039;t be like me and put your schools tuition on it, unless you%26#039;ve got the money to pay it back with in a month!

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I never use it for food, or any day to day expense. Emergencies only like car repairs. But the most important rule is to pay off your balance each month, no matter what you use it for. If you can%26#039;t pay off your balance each month, then you%26#039;re a fool and will spend years paying for that dinner at Bennigans.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I have an American Express card from Costco that has no annual fee and gives 1% back. I use it everywhere it will be accepted for everything that I would ordinarily buy. Monthly I pay off the entire balance. I have not had a balance carried over for over 30 years.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

.I think so I only use them for travel and shopping on then net. I usually pay them off at the end of the month, that way I don%26#039;t have to pay all their interest.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Food on a credit card your nuts? I never use mine. It is in a block of ice hidden in the remote access of my mothers freezer. Have to go 20 miles and wait for it to defrost. In that time I have to decide if it is important or not and it normally isn%26#039;t important enough.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Yes, I opened so many credit card accounts, and now at age 18 I bought a house.

Thank you credit cards!

P.S. I do owe a few thousand dollars to credit card companies, but that%26#039;s not the point. The point is, I work full time as a programmer and have enough money to pay off the minimum per month.

If you are in debt and can%26#039;t pay it off, and keep going into debt, that is what%26#039;s bad. In my case, I%26#039;m in debt, but I am owing less and less every month as of now.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Usually. What works for me is keeping a running total of whatever I%26#039;ve charged and when I%26#039;ve reached MY limit (never mind the card limit -- that%26#039;s just an incentive to spend) I stop.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Yes, I%26#039;m smart about my credit card. I don%26#039;t use it.%26#039;

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

yes iam i dont have one, the best way to keep you credit

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

yes i am very smart that%26#039;s why i do not have any credit cards to splurge that%26#039;s why i am debt free thank god!

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Yes, take advantage of introductory promotions, never carry a balance (pay in full every month), use reward cards (5% for gas and groceries, 1% everywhere else)...and follow discussion threads such as these:

http://www.fatwallet.com/t/52/524032/

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I use regularly and I pay regularly

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I have exactly one credit card, I hardly ever use it. It%26#039;s generally

for emergencies or purchases where I don%26#039;t want to carry large

amounts of cash. I like to stay out of debt.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I have a Chase Visa I have had for 15yrs... I make my major purchases with it... I once bought my daughter a $10000.00 car on it at 1.9 % for 2 years... a dang bank can%26#039;t give me that rate on a used car, interest was $15. a mo... I always take advantage of the 0% for a year and I pay it off in a year... if you decipline yourself to follow the rules and pay like it says... it%26#039;s like money for free... interest free or very little interest... having the same card for so long I have about a $20000.00 line of credit... I never use it to buy food or gas... only my big purchases... I really never use the actual card itself... Chase send me acces checks... normallly send three checks... each one giving me a different option... 1.99% for the life of the loan or 6 month no interest... they are great... %26quot;Chase Bank of NY%26quot;

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I use it all the time, I get cash back when I use it.

Is it possible to have 2 equity line of credit on the same house?

I own my own home and I have 2 mortgages. 1 conventional and the other a HELC. Can I get another one? The home is only 6 months old? I need to do some upgrades and repairs to the home. Should I take out another HELC or personal loan instead or? I%26#039;m looking for max $10K Any suggestions? Do%26#039;s %26amp; Dont%26#039;s?

Is it possible to have 2 equity line of credit on the same house?

I am not sure why you are doing %26quot;repairs%26quot; on a new home, but I would steer clear of adding additional financing to your home. If it is only 6 months old, and you purchased new from a builder, then you are probably upside down anyhow, and you won%26#039;t get a loan.

Finally, what did you do with the HELOC you already have? if you didn%26#039;t use it for home improvements, just an fyi, the interest may not be fully tax-deductible, if deductible at all. Hope this helps.

Is it possible to have 2 equity line of credit on the same house?

It will depend on the amount of equity you have. Check the site below for additional information and access to lenders or call around to a few banks. Compare rates and fees. Check your credit score. It may help to have your credit report reviewed first for errors and corrected in order to get the best rate.

Is it possible to have 2 equity line of credit on the same house?

Yes. There is virtually no limit to the number of loans you can have....so long as the amount borrowed and the credit limit does not exceed the value of your home (otherwise it would be an unsecured loan).

For instance, if your house is worth $200K. Your 1st mortgage is $175K and your HELOC is for $15K then you still have $10K available.

(200-175-15=10).

I%26#039;d check with your existing HELOC bank to see if they can increase the credit limit (often that%26#039;s easier than getting a new loan).
