INCOME tax question . PLEASE HELP!! we have a small light truck /auto repair & tire businessSEE

ON ONE ACCOUNT, we are umbrellaed under another business, they deal with the main tire dealership when we do a job for them , we dont get paid cash , or even a check we receive tire credits, on the labor we do . eventually we have an overstock of tires, because we do more account work than resale of the tires we receive. my question is can the fed. gov. tax the tires we receive on credits?, (un till the resale of the tires? )

INCOME tax question . PLEASE HELP!! we have a small light truck /auto repair %26amp; tire businessSEE DETAILS!!?

from the IRS:

%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;Bartering is an exchange of property or services.

You must include in your income, at the time

received, the fair market value of property or

services you receive in bartering.%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;

INCOME tax question . PLEASE HELP!! we have a small light truck /auto repair %26amp; tire businessSEE DETAILS!!?

Until the cash hits your hand it is still a credit. They deal with %26quot;what is%26quot; and not %26quot;what if%26quot;.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I learned to only use it for car repairs and food what about you.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Now I am, I had to learn the hard way.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

i dont have one

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Sure am. I don%26#039;t own a credit card.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I only use it for convenience, and I pay my balance every month.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

i build credit with mine- thats why my credit is really good- dont charge what you cant pay off!

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I dont have one, but If i did I dont thin ki would be smart about it, cause i am a very careless person and never thinks about the consequences.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I dont own a credit card cuz if I dont have one i cant charge stuff on it, but using it for vehicle repairs only might be a car saver...

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

as long as you remember how much you%26#039;ve spent and plan to pay for it at the end of the month you%26#039;ll have no problem. Don%26#039;t be like me and put your schools tuition on it, unless you%26#039;ve got the money to pay it back with in a month!

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I never use it for food, or any day to day expense. Emergencies only like car repairs. But the most important rule is to pay off your balance each month, no matter what you use it for. If you can%26#039;t pay off your balance each month, then you%26#039;re a fool and will spend years paying for that dinner at Bennigans.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I have an American Express card from Costco that has no annual fee and gives 1% back. I use it everywhere it will be accepted for everything that I would ordinarily buy. Monthly I pay off the entire balance. I have not had a balance carried over for over 30 years.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

.I think so I only use them for travel and shopping on then net. I usually pay them off at the end of the month, that way I don%26#039;t have to pay all their interest.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Food on a credit card your nuts? I never use mine. It is in a block of ice hidden in the remote access of my mothers freezer. Have to go 20 miles and wait for it to defrost. In that time I have to decide if it is important or not and it normally isn%26#039;t important enough.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Yes, I opened so many credit card accounts, and now at age 18 I bought a house.

Thank you credit cards!

P.S. I do owe a few thousand dollars to credit card companies, but that%26#039;s not the point. The point is, I work full time as a programmer and have enough money to pay off the minimum per month.

If you are in debt and can%26#039;t pay it off, and keep going into debt, that is what%26#039;s bad. In my case, I%26#039;m in debt, but I am owing less and less every month as of now.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Usually. What works for me is keeping a running total of whatever I%26#039;ve charged and when I%26#039;ve reached MY limit (never mind the card limit -- that%26#039;s just an incentive to spend) I stop.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Yes, I%26#039;m smart about my credit card. I don%26#039;t use it.%26#039;

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

yes iam i dont have one, the best way to keep you credit

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

yes i am very smart that%26#039;s why i do not have any credit cards to splurge that%26#039;s why i am debt free thank god!

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

Yes, take advantage of introductory promotions, never carry a balance (pay in full every month), use reward cards (5% for gas and groceries, 1% everywhere else)...and follow discussion threads such as these:

http://www.fatwallet.com/t/52/524032/

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I use regularly and I pay regularly

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I have exactly one credit card, I hardly ever use it. It%26#039;s generally

for emergencies or purchases where I don%26#039;t want to carry large

amounts of cash. I like to stay out of debt.

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I have a Chase Visa I have had for 15yrs... I make my major purchases with it... I once bought my daughter a $10000.00 car on it at 1.9 % for 2 years... a dang bank can%26#039;t give me that rate on a used car, interest was $15. a mo... I always take advantage of the 0% for a year and I pay it off in a year... if you decipline yourself to follow the rules and pay like it says... it%26#039;s like money for free... interest free or very little interest... having the same card for so long I have about a $20000.00 line of credit... I never use it to buy food or gas... only my big purchases... I really never use the actual card itself... Chase send me acces checks... normallly send three checks... each one giving me a different option... 1.99% for the life of the loan or 6 month no interest... they are great... %26quot;Chase Bank of NY%26quot;

Are you smart when it comes to your credit card?

I use it all the time, I get cash back when I use it.

Is it possible to have 2 equity line of credit on the same house?

I own my own home and I have 2 mortgages. 1 conventional and the other a HELC. Can I get another one? The home is only 6 months old? I need to do some upgrades and repairs to the home. Should I take out another HELC or personal loan instead or? I%26#039;m looking for max $10K Any suggestions? Do%26#039;s %26amp; Dont%26#039;s?

Is it possible to have 2 equity line of credit on the same house?

I am not sure why you are doing %26quot;repairs%26quot; on a new home, but I would steer clear of adding additional financing to your home. If it is only 6 months old, and you purchased new from a builder, then you are probably upside down anyhow, and you won%26#039;t get a loan.

Finally, what did you do with the HELOC you already have? if you didn%26#039;t use it for home improvements, just an fyi, the interest may not be fully tax-deductible, if deductible at all. Hope this helps.

Is it possible to have 2 equity line of credit on the same house?

It will depend on the amount of equity you have. Check the site below for additional information and access to lenders or call around to a few banks. Compare rates and fees. Check your credit score. It may help to have your credit report reviewed first for errors and corrected in order to get the best rate.

Is it possible to have 2 equity line of credit on the same house?

Yes. There is virtually no limit to the number of loans you can have....so long as the amount borrowed and the credit limit does not exceed the value of your home (otherwise it would be an unsecured loan).

For instance, if your house is worth $200K. Your 1st mortgage is $175K and your HELOC is for $15K then you still have $10K available.

(200-175-15=10).

I%26#039;d check with your existing HELOC bank to see if they can increase the credit limit (often that%26#039;s easier than getting a new loan).

I really need to get car finance to get out of my dreadful car but i have bad credit. HELP?

So i currently have a loan with esanda who I am not happy with as they have treated me like crap, I have been with them since 2004 and have gotten stuck on my payments as I am constantly paying for my car to be repaired as the tires wear very quickly due to a bad cambre on the back. I can no longer afford to constantly have the car fixed from all these issues and pay it off monthly. I still owe 20000 on the car and need to get out of this car and into a new loan with a different company. Heres the problem, I have applied everywhere under the sun in my desperation but because I have 3 paid defaults and 1 unpaid default no one will even look at me for a loan. The unpaid default is because I cannot find the people that listed it and I dont know what it is for so I will not pay it until i have more details. Can anyone please help me get out of this situation??? I am stuck in a rut and need some help desperately

I really need to get car finance to get out of my dreadful car but i have bad credit. HELP?

Unless you have a co-signer, you%26#039;re screwed with your current rig on the loan front. The options you have are as follows:

1. Get a co-signer and refinance

2. Do a voluntary repossession and pay the remaining loan

3. Keep paying them nothing and have your car repossessed

4. Get another job that will give you enough income to do the major repair that keeps costing you for the little repairs

Frankly, option one is great for you but likely to hose your co-signer (make sure it%26#039;s not someone whose friendship you%26#039;d like to lose). Option 2 sucks because you%26#039;re without a car unless you go to a %26quot;guaranteed credit%26quot;...errr...ripoff car lot. Option 3 will be a major scar on your already terrible credit but will last longer. Option 4 is your best bet. Suck it up, get another job, donate plasma or other biological goodies, whatever it takes.

If you successfully pull off option 4, swear to yourself that you%26#039;ll never take out such a big loan again.

By the way, of the millionaires in the country, the ones who bought inexpensive used cars were three times richer than those with similar incomes.

I really need to get car finance to get out of my dreadful car but i have bad credit. HELP?

Looks like you%26#039;re stuck. The borrower is always slave to the lender. I%26#039;m sure you%26#039;ll pay off the loan at some point and you%26#039;ll know better next time. You can never go wrong by paying for a car in full with cash.

Where do you go to get a home equity line of credit for a mobile home?

I inherited the mobile home and have lived in it for less than a year and I%26#039;d like to get the loan for home repairs and a new/used car. But I%26#039;m not sure where to go or how to go about getting the loan.

Where do you go to get a home equity line of credit for a mobile home?

https://www.lowermybills.com

They have a section on home equity loans and mobile home is listed as a choice for a loan. I%26#039;ve never heard of getting an equity loan on a mobile home, but as long as it%26#039;s worth more than what%26#039;s owed, I don%26#039;t see why not. I%26#039;ve always heard mobile homes don%26#039;t appreciate, though. Good luck!

Where do you go to get a home equity line of credit for a mobile home?

Hehehe...good luck with that one. You won%26#039;t be able to. You may, if your credit history and income is good enough, be able to get a personal loan for those things though...and seeing as you own the mobile home free and clear, that will be an advantage to you.

Where do you go to get a home equity line of credit for a mobile home?

Don%26#039;t do it. Sell it and get a home. That house has depreciated like a used Grand Am on a no credit needed lot. Sell it and get a home with enough money on the side to get that car.

Where do you go to get a home equity line of credit for a mobile home?

You cannot. Mobile homes are generally considered personal property, and thus you will not be able to get a mortgage (or a home equity line of credit, which is simply another form of mortgage).

Sorry for the bad news, but it looks like youre best bet is another form of financing.

Try www.prosper.com for example. I%26#039;ve got a group on there (though I won%26#039;t post it because I%26#039;m not here to advertise) and we help people like you.

Where do you go to get a home equity line of credit for a mobile home?

Unfortunately a mobile home is considered a depreciating item, such as your vehicle. Unlike regular homes, they do not appreciate over time, so no bank will give you a HELOC. I suggest selling it and start saving up for a true home.

Where do you go to get a home equity line of credit for a mobile home?

Not many lenders that will do that risky of a loan. You might want to check with some hard money lenders, or perhaps an HFC.

Mobile Homes are harder because they are MOBILE, and your collateral can move in the middle of the night.

Keep in mind the interest rate for this loan will be HIGH if you do find financing. The three C%26#039;s of credit would apply here for sure.

Collateral, Credit, Capacity for debt. You might want to find a site built home in the same area, and put the money from the sale of the Mobile as a down payment.

Where do you go to get a home equity line of credit for a mobile home?

It is real hard to get a loan for a mobile home, an equity loan on one is worse. Go to a local car dealer, perhaps the one you want to buy the car from. His sources may loan you the funds against the mobile home and the car title so that your goal can be met.

How much funds do you have to work with? the more you have, the easier the deal can be had. Where is the mobile home parked? (a trailer park is bad, private land is good) DO YOU OWN THE LAND?

Where do you go to get a home equity line of credit for a mobile home?

Typically a mobile home is considered personal property, however if that house is attached to a real foundation some financial institutions will treat them as real property like a regular home.

Another option is you may be able to secure a personal loan using the mobile home as collateral.

Where do you go to get a home equity line of credit for a mobile home?

You%26#039;re assuming you HAVE equity. Most mobile home are worth less than the land would be worth without the mobile home.

I want to know if I can get a line of credit with a small pension coming in I need?

to do some much needed repairs on my home and help my son alittle. Anyone know? My fico score is 800

I want to know if I can get a line of credit with a small pension coming in I need?

You need to talk to your bank about that. Depends on your debts, assets, income, degree of risk.

Is it possible to borrow 20,000 dolars to clean up my credit and get my dl back so I can get a bette

just need a new start. am able to do home repairs, remodeling.must obtain proper papers to do this legally. 30 years experiance won%26#039;t put money in my pocket if I can%26#039;t get rid of past dept.

Is it possible to borrow 20,000 dolars to clean up my credit and get my dl back so I can get a better job home

Unless you have equity in a home you own, probably, almost definitely not.

Your past experience tells creditors you%26#039;re a poor risk.

I feel your pain, we%26#039;re in a very similar spot right now. You%26#039;ll just have to do whatever work you can, for as many hours a week as you can to whittle down the mess.

Concentrate on your licenses first. That%26#039;s your bread and butter. Then you can negotiate with your creditors and possibly pay pennies on the dollar to settle with them and get them off your back (and this ends up being a lot cheaper than borrowing the full amount and paying interest too).

An old cliche%26#039; - How do you eat an elephant? The answer: One bite at a time.

Your financial hole is the elephant. Break it into manageable pieces and keep chewing. It will be gone sooner than you think. Just try to to focus on the whole elephant at once. It%26#039;s too intimidating.

Is it possible to borrow 20,000 dolars to clean up my credit and get my dl back so I can get a better job home

If your credit is that bad...noone is going to loan you 20,000.00 dollars. Your best bet is to keep working and pay it off little by little. You can contact people to help you consolidate all your bills so you only have one or two bills to pay and be paying it all off. Good Luck.

Is it possible to borrow 20,000 dolars to clean up my credit and get my dl back so I can get a better job home

Can you re-write the question in proper English?

Is it possible to borrow 20,000 dolars to clean up my credit and get my dl back so I can get a better job home

Borrowing a new 20,000 isn%26#039;t going to clean up your credit. It will just give you more debt. Work and pay off the debt you already have as you can. Maybe you have to get a job doing something else for a little while. It might take you a year or so before you can get to doing the job you love.

Is it possible to borrow 20,000 dolars to clean up my credit and get my dl back so I can get a better job home

isn%26#039;t that sorta like an oxy moron? lol you wanna borrow $20K to clean up your credit? by borrowing $20K you are then going to be in debt again.. lol ... i would say... think about selling one of your kidneys on e-bay.. :P lol good luck with borrowing $20K from anywhere.

Is it possible to borrow 20,000 dolars to clean up my credit and get my dl back so I can get a better job home

No. Borrowing money doesn%26#039;t ever, ever help anyone %26quot;clean up%26quot; their credit - getting out of debt does.

Get a second job delivering pizzas on the weekends or something. Or a first job at Lowes or Home Depot . . .

Is it possible to borrow 20,000 dolars to clean up my credit and get my dl back so I can get a better job home

The worst thing you can do is borrow more money when you%26#039;re already having trouble with your debt. There are plenty of companies looking for someone to help them in the home repairs department, especially with all the fix-n-flips in the real estate market. Unfortunatly, you just need to work to pay off your debts and clean up your credit. Lending more money is not the answer.

Is it possible to borrow 20,000 dolars to clean up my credit and get my dl back so I can get a better job home

Interesting question.

Borrowing $20,000 (assuming someone will give you the loan) is NOT the way to clean up your credit. While you might be able to get the money so that you can become licensed, that won%26#039;t help with your credit problem.

Unfortunately, the only way to clean up your credit is to... well, pay off your debt!

There%26#039;s a great way to do this. First, you have to call each and every person/bank/credit card company with whom you owe money. Explain your situation and see if they can lower your interest rate. The fact is that most WILL do this!! You can sometimes get it lowered by quite a bit if you talk to them.

Then, figure out which credit card has the highest interest rate. Estimate the MAXIMUM amount you can pay each month for your debt. Then, pay the MINIMUM for all debt, except the one with the highest interest rate. Pay as much as you can on that one until you%26#039;re done paying it off.

Then, and this is key, pick the next highest interest rate. Add to the minimum amount the SAME amount you%26#039;d been paying to the card/debt that you just paid off. You%26#039;ll pay this one off MUCH faster. Then, you%26#039;ll watch your credit rating go up quickly.

This might allow you to then get your loan and get your license.
